My Journey

Like many of the women I work with, my path hasn't been a straight line. It's been filled with pivotal moments that have shaped who I am and how I serve my clients.

In 2010, while having a pretty successful career working in the corporate world, I began questioning the success path I was following. This led to a challenging period in a leadership position that was too big for me, only to be let go. Almost simultaneously, my then partner of 8 years broke up with me. These experiences were my first major wake-up call, forcing me to reevaluate my life and career.

This pivotal moment led me on two journeys: an outer one that took me to Paris (where I fell in love with tango and discovered coaching), and an inner one of self-discovery. I realized that despite my professional success, I had no idea who I really was or what would make me genuinely happy. I had to revisit what success really meant – to me.

Six years into running my own business, I faced another significant challenge. Despite initial success, I felt like a fraud and couldn't continue. This led to my first major business recalibration and pivot.

In 2021, I reached a point where I was successful by every measure I had set for myself. Yet, I found myself completely exhausted and burned out. The thought of continuing as a coach for another decade, even though I loved my work, felt devastating. Coaching was my life, my joy, my vocation, but I couldn't do it anymore. I was dragging myself to take yet another Zoom call. Once again, I had to go back to the drawing board, recalibrate my business, and pivot.

Most recently, in 2023, an illness led me to question the meaning of everything I did, resulting in another massive recalibration and pivot.

Embracing Change and Growth

Through these experiences, I've grown incredibly competent and resilient at navigating what I call "the dark night of the soul" (and the dark night of business!). I've come to understand that these challenging periods are necessary steps required to reach the next stage of growth. They come with growing pains, but they're incredibly worthwhile.

Over time, I've developed what my former CEO clients call a "Sounding Board on steroids" - a massive Truth Detector. I can sense when something is right and aligned for someone, which is invaluable as we navigate the uncertain waters of finding your next direction.

Having been there multiple times myself, I know what the dark night of the soul (and of business!) looks like… I'm passionate about guiding other women through their own periods of transition and growth.
